The Motor City Gift and Café is open regularly, offering residents and their families friendly, inviting surroundings.

Coffee, juice, ice cream and snacks are available. In addition, the shop offers a small selection of gift items for purchase so residents may shop indoors.

Meals are an important part of the life of our residents. As such, we recognize that meals not only must be tailored to each individual's specific nutritional requirements, but also enjoyable and attractively presented.

Our registered dietician is trained in planning special diets and our menus reflect traditional seasonal offerings and produce availability.  Each meal allows for the resident to make choices, and we gladly accommodate special requests.  Festive occasions and holidays are celebrated with special menus.

All meals are served in warm, cozy dining rooms. Although residents may dine in their rooms, they are encouraged to eat in the dining rooms and to socialized with other residents.

Tasty snacks are also offered, throughout the day, to provide variety and boost nutrition. Accommodations are gladly made, if family members wish to eat with their loved ones, and we are also able to arrange for family parties to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or other special events.

Our facility includes Regency Park, our 23,000 square-foot, landscaped garden. Immediately adjacent to our building, the park provides a peaceful, private outdoor area for our residents and their loved ones. A gazebo and benches are available to those who wish to linger in the open air.

Seating areas provide tranquil respites for sunning, reading and relaxing. The park’s walkways offer the opportunity for peaceful strolling.

At Regency Healthcare Centre we like for our residents to feel a sense of community. In an effort to provide this sort of environment, we will soon offer a large-screen movie theatre for the viewing pleasure of our residents.

The theatre will house a 105" drop-down movie theatre style screen, and popcorn machine. It will accommodate an audience of 30, and be wheelchair accessible. We will feature classic, uplifting films from the past, as well as popular modern titles.
