Respite Care provides the caregiver the opportunity to leave the responsibility of caregiving behind for a period of time with the comfort of knowing that the resident will be in a secure and nurturing environment. Residents who are on respite care are encouraged to participate in all facets of community life. Care is paid for on a day-by-day basis allowing the caregiver a great deal of flexibility.
